For Care Homes & Residential Homes
On-site ear wax removal, built around your residents and your routine
Hearing loss caused by ear wax build-up is one of the most common, and most treatable issues affecting residents in care and residential settings. Left unaddressed, it can be mistaken for confusion, withdrawal, or a decline linked to dementia, when in fact it's a simple, five-minute fix.
We bring safe, professional microsuction ear wax removal directly to your home, no transport, no waiting rooms, no lengthy GP referral. Whether you need a one-off visit for a resident who's struggling, or a standing arrangement that keeps hearing health on your radar all year round, we'll fit around how your home already works.
WHY HOMES WORK WITH US
- Fully insured and DBS-checked, cleared to work with vulnerable adults
- Experienced with elderly and dementia care residents, a calm, unhurried approach, working alongside your care staff
- No GP referral needed — most GP practices no longer offer this as a routine service, and waits can run to several weeks
- We come to you — multiple residents seen in a single visit, with no need to arrange transport
- Clear, flexible pricing — pay per visit, or set up a recurring schedule; billed to the home or to residents' accounts/families, whichever suits your setup
HOW PRICING WORKS
We keep this simple and flexible, because every home's admin is different.
Per-resident treatment fee
The more residents seen in a single visit, the lower the cost per person — since our travel and setup time is shared across everyone we see that day.
Treatment is capped at £45.00 for one ear and £60.00 for two ears, but the price reduces depending on the amount of residents seen in one day.
1-2 Residents - £45,00 - £60,00
3-5 Residents - £35.00 - £50.00
6+ Residents - £25.00 - £40.00
And don't forget we can treat staff as well!
A minimum call-out applies to cover the visit itself, even where only one resident is treated on the day.
WHO IS BILLED?
We know not every resident's care is funded the same way, so we offer two options and you can mix them across your residents:
- Billed to the home — added to your existing supplier arrangements, useful for residents with a discretionary care/wellbeing budget
- Billed to the resident or family — we invoice directly, with the home simply confirming which residents to see and providing next-of-kin contact details
ONE-OFF VISITS OR A STANDING ARRANGEMENT
- One-off visit: ideal as a first step, or for an individual resident who's shown signs of hearing difficulty. No commitment beyond the visit itself.
- Recurring schedule: many homes prefer to build this into routine care (for example, quarterly visits) so hearing health doesn't rely on someone remembering to flag it. We'll work out a rolling schedule that suits your home, with no long lock-in just simple notice if your needs change.
GETTING STARTED
The easiest way to see how this works is a first visit for one or two residents, at no obligation to continue. From there, most homes move to a regular schedule once they've seen the difference it makes.
