I am a qualified ear care practitioner and the founder of Clear Ears Wales. I offer professional ear wax removal at home across Cardiff, the Vale of Glamorgan and the wider South Wales area.
I am trained in both microsuction and irrigation, and I make the clinical decision about which method to use for each patient based on a thorough ear examination and medical history. There is no pressure on you to choose, that is my job, and I take it seriously.
I set up Clear Ears Wales because I saw how many people were struggling with blocked ears and getting nowhere. GP appointments are harder than ever to come by, and the NHS largely stopped offering ear wax removal some years ago. I wanted to offer something better, professional, affordable and convenient, that comes to you - especially on the weekends.
Before training in ear care, I worked as a psychotherapist and hypnotherapist, so I understand how important it is to help people feel at ease. Having someone work near your ears can feel daunting, especially if you have had a bad experience before. I take my time, I explain everything before I do it, and I will never proceed with anything you are not comfortable with.
